                                       Grievance Procedure Policy

The EFGSD Joint Powers Recreation Board has a policy in place to address concerns or grievances in our programs. If you have any concerns, you must follow the procedure. Contacting individual Board members is not the proper procedure. If you have a legitimate concern-utilize the proper procedure.

                                              Grievance Procedure

Step 1: Contact the coach or instructor responsibly. Do not approach the coach or instructor immediately following the game. Call the coach and set up a meeting to address your concern.

Step 2: If not satisfied with the result of this meeting. Contact The Recreation Director to discuss your concern. If your concerns are not resolved, refer to step 3.

Step 3: The Recreation Director will set up a meeting with the coach, concerned parent (guardian) or participant and the Recreation Board members.

All concerns or grievances can be resolved if everyone involved is willing to communicate and follow the proper procedure.
