You can qualify for 4 different levels:
Platinum Level 8,000 or more shots
Gold Level 6,000 or more shots
Silver Level 4,000 or more shots
Bronze Level 2,000 or more shots
**2,000 pucks a month, 100 pucks a day, 5 days a week and you will reach the Platinum Level 8,000 pucks!!
The EGYHA would like to invite all youth hockey players to participate in our new Golden Bear Pucks Unlimited - Summer Challenge. Unfortunately, during the course of the hockey season, not enough time can be allotted in scheduled practices to work on "finishing" or shooting pucks. A good time to put in that "finishing" work is at home or at Coach Torrel's summer dryland training program at the Hippodrome.
Starting June 1st and running through September 30th, challenge yourself to improve your shot for the upcoming season. Take a few minutes each day and shoot some pucks. Time spent on your shot will make you a better player.
Use the attached Golden Bear Pucks Unlimited - Summer Challenge log sheet to track your "finishing" quest. Keep track of how many pucks you shoot and have Mom or Dad initial the box on the sheet. When a level is completed, e.g. 2000 shots, send an e-mail to bgmortenson@msn.com and your name will be added to the website (www.evelethyouthhockey.com) for the completed level. Any e-mails sent after September 30th will not be considered.
Check the website to track the progress of your friends and teammates. What is the ultimate reward for attaining a level of the Golden Bear Pucks Unlimited - Summer Challenge? A better shot!
In addition, shooters will qualify for the following:
1. For every level achieved, you will get a ticket into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate to Range Sports.
2. Your name will appear on a banner next season at the Hippodrome (highest level achieved).
3. and most of all HAVE FUN!
This program is entirely on the honor system, please fill out the log sheets accurately. Get shooting!
